Family:

The horse belongs to the Equidae family. Donkey, Pony, and Zebra belong to this family too.

Diet:

Horse are herbivores (animals means they are vegetarian). They eat fruit, grass, seeds, roots, vegetable, stems, and leaves of plants.  

  

Gender and Stages:

Female horses are called Mare. Male horses are like Stallion. Young females are Filly or fillies. Young males are known as Colt and Colts.  Newborn Baby horses are called Foal. When a foal turns at the first year it becomes a Yearling.

Kinds:

Horses are fancy domestic animals. When we talk about its kinds we will amaze to see and learn about its kinds. Some kinds are long some are lazy some are short some are quick and are beautiful but there no chance that a horse looks ugly. Some common kinds of horses are here:

• Gypsy horse
• Shire horse
• Miniature horse
• Turkmens
• Warmbloods
• Arabian horse
• Quarter horse.

Facts about horses:

A horse can live about 25 years but the world's eldest horse was Samson a shire horse who was 60 years old.  Horses have sharp teeth to chop the grass. There are 60 million horses that exist. The horse lives in the whole world except Antarctica. There are 205 bones in a horse skeleton. The horse does not smile to show their happiness. A horse smiles to get a good smell.  A horse can run about 27 km but the horse's max speed is 55 km per hour. The horse's height can be 1.4 to 1.8 meters.

Benefits of horses:

The horse is a domestic mammal. There are many benefits of horse such as horse load people and kinds of stuff, horse riding is a joyful experience for everyone, we can earn money threw the horse, horse helps farmers to eat extra grass in the field, horses waste is a good diet for plants.
